Context
Intensive week (one week, one game), 2nd year at ICAN.
Constraint
Do a tactical game in a week.
Role
Character designer, Game designer.
Pitch
Higher beings confront warriors from different dimensions, each master of a particular weapon.
They will have to fight to the death to win in the WEAPONS REALM!
Principal Game Play
Each player is assigned with a weapon that hit certain square (specify below). Each weapon is linked to a specific character deisgn.
The game is played in tunr base tactical but in "Real time". Each player has 5 seconds to decide his moves (3 squares) and the direction in which they attack.
After these 5 seconds all the character will move at the same time, then attack.
Secondary Game Play
If a character goes on a square where a weapon other than his own is present, he becomes the character handling it.
A character going to the large square in the center of the card will receive a big bonus (until the end of the game) on the squares that his weapon hits. (see Power-point below)
The pillars around the central square can be collapse to block the path. The player will have to destroy them to make a new way.
