Pitch
You wake up from a long artificial sleep in a ruined laboratory. You feel changed, half-man half-fruit.
But you're not the only one who's changed. The world is full of mutant fruits and vegetables. The only ones who can face them are the cooks, humanity elite soldier.
But first you will have to find a way out...
Will you survive? Will you find your place in this world... of cooks ?
Intent
Our intention was to tell an absurd story (mutant fruits) in an anxious atmosphere (a ruined laboratory in the dark). But laughter had to take priority over fear. Our goal was for the player to laugh while playing World of Cooks.
Game Play
The two main mechanisms related to the avatar are the movement and its limited field of vision.
These mechanics were suitable for exploration, an important part of an adventure game.
